The colorimeter + spectrophotometer LC01 is a new laboratory instrument developed to directly measure the Lycopene content as well as the color coordinates L,a,b,a/b in the tomato products. LC01 is the first spectrophotometer that, through the innovative and original method, allows to accurately measure in real time the Lycopene content directly in the actual product, without any conditioning, during each stage of tomato processing. The absorbances measured during the cycle can be processed in order to also supply information about the concentration of other pigments (Carotene and chlorophyll) |
